Mick McG ![]() 3rd Apr 2010 18:12:56 | H'o guys,
I was trawling the interweb a few days ago looking for some free stuff to enhance my FSX setup and came across ATCA v2.8 Now I'm normally pretty sceptical about this sort of stuff but I used it the other night and reckon that it could be a really useful tool particularly when used in conjunction with Dave Wave's excellent Flight Strip software. You get real time weather obs/METARS, current runway, UK wake separation calculator and other really useful goodies. My only criticism is that it could be a bit intrusive on a one monitor setup but if you run 2 then it's definately worth a look. It was developed for VATSIM but is available free and without any need to register at: http://www.atca.org.uk/dnld_pg.php See what you think of it. Regards, M |
