New version of Pilot Assistant
Dave Wave 14th Feb 2010 13:25:19	Version 1.10 of Pilot assistant is now available to download from the pilot section of the web site. Fixes Squawk Ident is now activated by using Ctrl+I (India) Previous version was just I which prevented you using I on the keyboard which was a bit of a pain if you wanted to enter EGHI in your GPS etc. (Sorry about that lol) I also discovered Pilot Assistant would crash if FSX crashed. Because of this some users thought that Pilot Assistant was crashing FSX. Took me a bit of time to discover this as I had to force fsx to crash to trap the error condition. To reasure you, Pilot assistant runs within managed code, in a seperate memory space to fsx and only communicates via a published api from microsoft (simconnect). In fact it rarely uses this api so both performance and stability is assured. So if fsx crashes now pilot assistant will carry on as normal and will continue to function again when fsx is re-started. I've also fixed the installer so you should be able to update your version without having to remove the old version first.
