Matthew Myatt ![]() 16th May 2014 02:20:50 | Hello,
I have built a home cockpit and want to incorporate a ident button that will work with the 0000 ident. Most of my hardware is controlled by Phidgets units. The problem I have is that I can assign the ident of #0000 using a push to make button via FSUIPC offset 0354 and a BCD format of 0X000 and this sets the transponder perfectly to squawk #0000. However it just stays at this ident and does not return to the previous ident code. Any idea of how to make it return back would be very welcome. I am using FSUIPC as I do not understand how to use Simconnect. Many Thanks Matthew. |

Matthew Myatt ![]() 16th May 2014 12:20:34 | Hello Dave,
Long time no speak, hope you are well. Thank you for the reply, I spotted a post you made on a forum back in 2010 that talked about CTRL + I doing the same job as your ident update for the aircraft.cfg file. Could I assign a keystroke using FS2Phidges to do the ident routine.? Matthew. |
Dave Wave ![]() 16th May 2014 18:22:13 | ctrl + I works if you run pilot assistant. Not sure if it would work with what you say, it might, it might not! Sorry, I've not used it. |
Matthew Myatt ![]() 16th May 2014 19:11:09 | Thanks for the reply Dave. What I have done is using Pilot Assist and FSUIPC, I have assigned a key press to reproduce CTRL + I and now when I press my Squawk button in my cockpit, it's sends #0000 and then returns to the previous code. Perfect.!! |
