I keep getting a "logon Failed' when trying to login to flight strips.

i clicked for got password and im using the correct password.

i've tried uninstalling and re-installing, run as admin and not running as admin.

When i uninstalled and re-installed, it still remembered my user name so i think there is still data that in not being uninstalled somewhere.

Getting the same issue. I'll look at first thing in the morning, strange as I can get on pilot assistant which is pretty much the same code.

OK, all seems to be working fine, I don't have the same issue as you.

Are you sure you are using the correct user/password for your account? I'm using your details and it tells me I'm not in an active session.

Can you log onto pilot assistant ok?

I'm using the right user and password same as here, i'm getting a connection to server error when i try to run pilot assistant. i just restored my computer and still getting the same logonfailed.

also, I've tried to uninstall flight strips and when i re-install it it remembers my username. so its not completely uninstalling the program.

Chris, if you can't log on to pilot assistant or flight strips it sounds like you are not using the correct userid/password combination. I managed to logon fine using your id.

Not sure what to make about your comment about remembering your username, it's irrelevant anyway. Not sure why you think removing and reinstalling software will suddenly make the database thing you've entered the correct password!

Dave, I'm getting an error when i try to poen pilot assistant, it says underlying connection was closed: an unexpected error occurred on a receive. then another window pops up and says unable to connect to server, check your network connection and try again.

ive reformatted my computer and haven't installed any updates or games but FSX, .net 4.0, flight strips and pilot assistant.

Chris, At the moment your posting via some of US military proxy so I suggest you are either under surveillance or on combat operations and therefore shouldn't be playing flight sim lol

I'm currently overseas, can you see my attempts to login? i'm working with the base Admins here to allows traffic from your servers. it does not appear that I'm reaching your servers.

Chris, you are having network issues, suspect you might be going through a proxy server of some sort which won't help either.

Having the same issue.. How can I fix it? Tried to reboot my computer and router, and then it logged me in the first time, but I was unable to see any planes - it seemed a bit broken. After that I have not been able to logon again.

Dave, it sounds like you need a tech guy to help with issues that surface from players on your servers, i only saying cause it looks like you`re trying to solve these problems on your own, just sayin how i see it, no offence intended...

Lots of people chip in to help, no need to say one of them is dedicated support. Not sure anyone would volunteer for it anyway!

Ricki,

Many members, usually Server owners are often seen around the forum posts offering as much support as we can. We can help as much as possible but can't offer much help on a technical basis where we would need to look into accounts etc. There's a very wide range of experience available to you on this forum :) all you need to do is ask politely
