FSXWorldwide - Administrator request | |
David Bartlam![]() ![]() ![]() 18th Jan 2014 15:00:57 | Gents,
Apologies for bringing this to a public forum but I feel I must. Unfortunately, we have recently had a few youngsters join our server that have been extremely keen to try and help FSXWorldwide reach out to the further FSXCommunity in order to publiscise our existance. One member in particular has been seen and heard to try and promote our server within other FSOpen servers. These members are not trolling the servers but merely having conversations with people telling them to come and join my community. I'd just like to go on record to say this has absolutely nothing to do with myself nor my staff and is something which I frown upon. I have since spoken to the member in question and he has since apologised for his actions. It's nothing big, he wanted to control on a server, got told to take an assessment in order to control, he didn't want to so then felt the need to advertise the fact he is a member at FSXW. My request to the fellow administrators out there is simple. If you hear or see anyone attempting to advertise my server or trying to poach members, please take a copy of that users name and IP address and email me at ceo@wdwva.com, alternatively, use the contact form on the front page at www.fsxworldwide.co.uk or drop into my Teamspeak. As I'm sure you can imagine, I find it frustrating to hear this has happened and will endeavour to make sure it doesn't again. Unfortunately, I can not control where our members go, and in particular I cant control who my junior members talk to, what they say and what they do. Thanks for your time David Bartlam FSXWorldwide |
