Sean Jackson  20th Jan 2013 09:54:55 | hi I was wondering why my FSX wont connect to any of the servers through DIRECT IP. after I type in the correct IP ADRESS after about a minute it says cant connect to host.
please can someone tell me why ?? thanks sean |
Joe Clifford   20th Jan 2013 10:18:38 | Sean, make sure you have both FSX service pack 1 and 2 or Acceleration installed.
Most of these servers will be running with service pack 2, therefore you will have to have it to join the. If you have acceleration installed then service pack 2 is automatically installed. Otherwise you'll need to manually download service pack 1 and 2 from online. On the 'Sessions' page of the website at the top is a checklist that tells you everything you need. It mentions sp1 & 2 and a link to download them. Regards Joe |
