I am interested in the FSopen server. I currently have a rack server and a few other servers that are spare, I am considering hosting a 24/7 session, which is managed. I am quite experienced in gaming servers and have owned many and I have a good idea about forwarding ports etc so that's not the issue. I'm not sure If I've got the wrong end of the stick but as far as I know the FSOpen server will host a FSX session for users to join? I need someone to confirm my knowledge on how the server works. I presume that you only need to install FSopen on the dedicated server and then run that? Kind regards, Sam. |
