You will need to download Service Pack 2! Andy did ask you this when we was registering you.

Make sure that you've searched for FSX service packs, NOT windows service packs. This is common misunderstanding for most of recent FSX users.

Download starts from below (I think).

Jacob. Just to add to what Dave was asking you, do you have Service Pack 2 for FSX? If not, you can download this from Microsoft or if you have some spare money, you can get FSX Acceleration which not only has additional features but also Service Pack 2. You can't connect to the active server unless you have SP2 for FSX.

Hope this helps> :o)

If I may point to something here,

Dave, the issue could really been started because proxy configs, however, now I suspect that Flight strip hasn't been totally terminated in Joel's PC session. Unfortunately, even version 1.58 doesn't terminate totally when I prompt closing..
Therefore, It will necessary to close it via "Win Task Manager" as J. Clifford has pointed in an earlier post.

OK, I'll look at flight strips on Monday, meanwhile you will need to kill it with task manager to run again.

Joel, can you now create a flight plan in pilot assistant?
