Dave Saunders 24th Oct 2011 20:03:46 | When trying to connect directly to host in FSX I get the error "Cannot create connection to host".
I have tried turning off firewalls but still no joy. Any suggestions ? |
Dave Wave ![]() 24th Oct 2011 20:19:09 | You will need to be running fsx with sp1 and sp2 or acceleration.
You shouldn't need to turn your firewall off. Can you connect to the same host in Gamespy? |
Dave Saunders 24th Oct 2011 20:46:38 | Hi Dave,
Running sp2 and yes I can connect in game spy by direct connection . |
Dave Wave ![]() 24th Oct 2011 20:50:04 | Check in fsx that your ports are set 6112 to 6122 |
Dave Saunders 24th Oct 2011 21:01:25 | Yep, set correct . |
Dave Wave ![]() 24th Oct 2011 21:02:01 | I'll send you an email |
Dave Saunders 24th Oct 2011 21:02:16 | Thanks |
Andy Mooring ![]() 25th Oct 2011 17:27:25 | Also, don't forget, the IP address changes so you'll need to check what the numbers are before joining the session. Another thing is that if you have tried to re-enter the session too soon after you have either been unexpectedly rejected, left the server at your own accord or the server is being reset, give it a couple of minutes then try again.
Hope this helps :o) |
