Hi,
I know I've been asking this before but can't find the post again but I have this problem with my processor when playing FSX. I want it to work more! See the pictures:
[/URL]
And a picture of how many percents my processor is currently working out of it full power!

Can it work more? How do I get it to work more?
The above picture is with all settings not at Ultra High but all sliders at max (not the settings I use) just some kind of benchmark. Hope you can help me!

FSX is not that good at using more than on core. FSX was written before dual cores were common. The launch version of FSX only ever used one core.

Service pack one fixed this but it only offloads autogen and I think loading scenery onto other cores. Everything else remains on the main proccess. Therefore, if there is no scenery or autgen to load fsx can only take 50% of the cpu time on a dual core or 25% on a quad. On a hexacore with hyper threading fsx often only uses 1/12th of the cpu.

Okey, but how can these people on Youtube for example "JohnyBravoSix" or "Jon5700" get such amazing results when only using a 3.5Ghz Quad processor? I mean that there's got to be some kind of tweak to get FSX using more CPU power? Not anything you're aware of?

I thought that they might record at 1/4 or 1/2 speed then speed it back up.

Note JohnyBravoSix is using an i7 so thats much quicker then your chip. Preformance is mre than than just GHz.

What video card have you got?

You could try this tool for tweaking.

Try setting the priority of your FSX.exe in task manager to High as this will make the CPU focus on FSX more than other programs
