Hi guys,

I've decided I will take a PPL (in a year or so). My teacher flies at the local flyingclub and he will assist me with giving me private training lessons and get me a cheaper price on the theory books (they cost 1500£) The whole education costs about 8500£ where I'll study. Anyway, I guess someone of you have a certificate or studying right now? I was looking for some advices. Every advice you have I'll be glad to hear. If it was anything you thought was hard and advice me to study extra on. I will be flying in this aircraft or maybe the smaller model DA20:
The pilot is my teacher!

Hey Isak,

2 things that you deff need to know are the airspace and the weahter,

they are 2 of the hardest topics

i know that the UK is alkward and they do things the wrong way (CHRISTIAN) but the ground is harder than the flying
but once you know the ground you will be fine

best of luck

Hi Isak

Well your lucky - the flying school I plan to go to costs around £8000 now for the full licence after the UK govornment increased VAT
:-( (works out more expensive due the the euro being different from the pound or something) and that is without books -.-
Never live in the UK mate, the weathers bad and its like fifty quid to use a public toilet.

nice :) sometimes the smaller clubs can be more of a community than a big one. Just now I have about 4 nearby schools and clubs i could choose from, though Leading Edge is the cheapest and they have the nice selection of training aircraft :-) The diamond looks nice by the way! and since you were saying you may use the DA20......just a word of warning. Its surprisingly fast at take off! :D
