A quick forum post to try and see if anyone would be interested in an idea Steff & I have come up with. We have experienced, with in our own FSX Session, a very bad service in regards to TeamSpeak Hosting and rather expensive at that to. We would like to propose a solution that you may be interested in. We was thinking about getting our own server hosted and using our TS3 NPL(Non Profit Licence)to host 10 TS3 servers each with 50 slots. We would then take the cost of the hosting and divide it by the number of people that we have on board. We would not make a profit through any of this, just enough to break even. We are looking at the moment with the cost being somewhere in the region of £15.00 per year. We may decide to start off with a monthly cost incase it doesnt pan out as we hope. Im sure you will agree that that is a price you will struggle to find else where. We accept that we are not professionals with TeamSpeak however have hosted our own before. This is something that is only an idea at the moment however would like to get an idea on how many people would be interested in this. Obviously the more people on board the lower the cost of everyone. Let us know what you think! Regards Joe Clifford & Steff Missot |
